RKSfluid Metal-Seated Gate Valves are designed for on-off isolation in water supply and water treatment pipelines. Available in sizes DN50–DN2000 and pressure ratings PN10, PN16, PN25 and PN40, the valves feature a ductile iron body with a ductile iron disc fitted with brass or bronze sealing components.
The metal-seated design provides a metal-to-metal sealing interface for water service. Flanged connections and face-to-face dimensions can be specified according to the applicable product standard and project requirements.

Metal-seated gate valves use metallic seating surfaces, such as brass or bronze, while resilient-seated designs use an elastomer-covered wedge. This difference affects the sealing interface and should be considered when selecting a valve for a specific water service.
Check the nominal size, pressure rating, face-to-face length, flange drilling and operating conditions. Matching the connection dimensions is essential when replacing a valve without modifying the pipeline.
F4 and F5 define different face-to-face dimensional series. The required series must match the pipeline layout or specified valve dimensions; they should not be treated as interchangeable.
The nominal pressure rating should be selected against the pipeline design pressure and applicable engineering standard. RKSfluid's listed ratings are PN10, PN16, PN25 and PN40.
The main considerations are water chemistry, corrosion resistance, material compatibility and project specifications. Brass and bronze are available seating-material options for this product range.
Face-to-face dimensions and flange drilling must both match the pipeline specification. Relevant references include BS 5163 or DIN 3202 F4/F5 for dimensional requirements, and EN 1092-2 or AS 4087 for flange requirements, as applicable.
Include size, pressure rating, quantity, design standard, face-to-face dimension, flange drilling, water-service conditions and required material documentation. This helps reduce clarification rounds during technical review.
The listed maximum operating temperature is 80°C. Selection should also account for the specified pressure rating, water conditions and installation requirements.
