In the industrial world, where process stability and product purity define competitiveness, filtration technology plays a vital role. However, traditional filters often struggle with limited precision, high consumable costs, and poor automation.

RKSfluid's Candle Filter System is designed to solve these challenges. With a fully enclosed structure, advanced filter elements, smart backflushing, and PLC-based automation, it provides a new benchmark for efficient solid-liquid separation across chemical, pharmaceutical, and food industries.


1. Advanced Design Built for Performance
The RKSfluid Candle Filter adopts a vertical pressure filtration design. Its structure includes a pressure vessel, multi-element candle filter cores, an automatic backflushing unit, and a PLC control module. These components work in a closed cycle of filtration – discharge – regeneration, ensuring continuous, clean, and efficient operation.

2. Innovative Candle Filter Elements
At the heart of the system lies RKSfluid “plum-blossom” candle filter element, featuring a unique six-lobed cross-section.

Each element combines a 316L stainless steel frame with a PTFE membrane, offering micropores as small as 0.5 μm that effectively capture nano-scale particles.
The hexagonal design increases the effective filtration area by up to 40% compared to traditional cylindrical elements.

Thanks to its modular configuration, users can freely combine 1–200 filter candles, making it adaptable to flow rates ranging from a few tons to hundreds of tons per hour.

3. Smart Backflushing System: Extending Filter Life
When the filter cake reaches a preset thickness, the system automatically triggers a compressed air pulse backflush. Within 0.3 seconds, the cake detaches cleanly from the filter surface.

The bottom discharge valve then opens automatically, completing residue discharge and filter regeneration within one minute.

This technology has been proven to extend filter element life to up to 18 months, while reducing consumable costs by approximately 65% compared to conventional filters — delivering both operational efficiency and cost savings.

4. PLC-Controlled Operation for Safety and Stability
Built from 304 stainless steel, the pressure vessel withstands 1.6 MPa of working pressure.
A Siemens PLC control system continuously monitors parameters like pressure, temperature, and flow rate, and automatically adjusts filtration cycles to maintain optimal performance.

In real-world applications, such as GMP-certified pharmaceutical facilities, this system has been recognized for its “zero-leakage” and “full-traceability” operation — ensuring both safety and compliance.
